Poisons

Many animals you encounter while diving are poisonous. They use these venoms for defense and hunting. Some animals are more poisonous than others, so you must be very careful to dive with your eyes and not your hands and feet. The sting of stonefish is sometimes fatal. Stonefish are very hard to see and can be stepped on inadvertent.
