My favorite is the Four Seasons in Cairo it’s like an oasis in the city, and if you spend much time in Cairo you’ll aairecppte that. At the Four Seasons, ask for a Nile view room.There’s also a great, older hotel right by the pyramids, called the Mena House. It’s absolutely beautiful with a great view of the pyramids, nice gardens to walk through, and a good bar.It’s very cheap to take taxis, but you need to know where you’re going, or get someone to tell the driver before you get in, since a lot of drivers don’t speak much English. You should also agree to a price before getting in the cab.
