Egypt Travel Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

I believe that the Middle East is dangerous. What About it?

Egypt is much safer then most large American Cities. While we must admit that there have been infrequent problems, crime on the other hand, is none existant. Egypt is a land of peace and beauty, and has often been credited as one of the most stabalizing influences in the Middle East..

I don't think people over there like us. Isn't that true?

Not. Egypt thrives on tourism, and almost everyone you meet there will let you know with a warm smile. This is a friendly country eager for a return to the more affluent times of heavy tourist traffic.

Gee, I don't know if I'd like the food. Fine.

Then eat at McDonalds. Egypt isn't exactly backwords you know. If McDonalds doesn't suit you, then how about Pizza Hut, Arbies, Kentucky Fried Chicken, etc., etc. And almost all of them deliver! You can get Tex-Mex at the Intercontiental Hotel, real French bakeries and European quisean. But try one of the five star Egyptian restaurants. You won't be disapointed.

Look, I really don't won't to vacation somewhere I can't drink.

Who said you couldn't drink. Egypt has been serving vacationers for a few thousand years. It's not like they don't know how to be good hosts. We personally recommend Steller Beer when in Egypt. It's Egypt's favorite Beer, and they invented beer. You'll also find hard liquor.

So what about accommedations. I like TV, and swimming pools.

So you never heard of satillite. Take your pick, from opulant Hiltons to neighborhood traditions.
