Weather in Egypt in March

Spending March in Egypt is the best way to enjoy spring break.  The weather really is ideal for sightseeing, especially if you’re bringing children along.  Temperatures range from highs of 70°F (21°C) in Alexandria and 86°F (30.4°C) in Aswan, to lows of 52°F (11.3°C) and 54°F (12.6°C) respectively.  This means that while the weather has warmed up, it’s not yet too hot to be uncomfortable, but just the right level of warmth to enjoy travelling through Egypt’s most spectacular historical monuments at Cairo, Alexandria, Luxor, and Aswan.  It also means that the weather is also warm enough along the Red Sea coast to add a couple of days of relaxing at the beach.
