Children at El Gouna
Children are valued members of the El Gouna community. Parents can easily
escape and relax with the full knowledge that their children are in good
hands. Kafr El Gouna and all major hotels offer special animation programs
and sports activities for children of all ages. Nursery Parents will
appreciate the professional care their children will receive at the Little
Gounies Nursery. A European staff in addition to a nice shaded garden, a
small pool, twin slide tunnel and lots of toys, make Little Gounies Nursery
incredibly popular with kids and parents alike. The nursery is open to
babies from one to three years old. Little Gounies nursery also offers
babysitting services, call to make arrangements.
El Gouna International School
El Gouna International School (EGIS) was established by Orascom to serve the local and international community and officially inaugurated by the First Lady, Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak on 29th October 1998. The school offers two separate curricular, the thanaweyah Ammah (Egyptian) and the British National Curriculum (International). The headteachers, one for each section, are both experienced academics with an extensive professional career in education. The academic grades currently available at the EGIS are Kindergarten to Primary 3 in the National system, and Kindergarten to Primary 6 in the International section. As the school develops, it will increase one grade per academic year in the International Section and will extend to Prep 1 in the National Section. The teachers are from England, Ireland, Italy and Egypt. The capacity of the school is 330 students, with approximately 80 students currently enrolled. It comprises 9 air-conditioned classrooms for primary education on 2 floors. Each of the 11classrooms features its own courtyard, in addition to the main playground, which includes a Jungle Gym as well as an Astroturf area suitable for volleyball, tennis and basketball.

Les Petites Nursery
The new home for your children in El Gouna.
Nursery and baby sitting service for day and night all year round.
Open to kids from 3 months to 4 years of age (baby sitting up to 9 years
age).
From Saturday to Thursday, closed on Friday.
The Service of Les Petites are:
- Children accepted from 3 months to 4 years age.
- English, French Arabic classes available.
- Educational Programs in Cooperation with EGIS (Int. School - El Gouna)
- Hot lunch served daily
- Foreign management
- Free bus transportation for Hurghada residents
- Extra time till 6 p.m.

Go Carts:
For kids and adults who love speed, racing around the race track offers
fantastic fun. Start your engine and ride one of the 8 carts
Yalla Horsestable:
There is a great opportunity for kids to learn about horse care with the
9 month old pony foal at Yalla where workshops are taught by Dolly.
Aquarium:
Recently refurbished, the aquarium in Kafr El Gouna is a great hit with kids
of all ages. Discover the wonders of the Red Sea without getting wet!
From Spanish dancers and Picassos to sea horses and crabs, the aquarium will
delight the entire family. Be sure to ask about the Piranas and baby
crocodiles!
Water-Ski:
Did you know that El Gouna has the only professional
level water-ski school in all Egypt? For kids (and parents) who want school
to learn this exciting water sport, lessons are coached by Chris, himself a
European champion. The youngest student they've had was 2 years old,
so it's never too early to start. Space is limited so call soon!
