Metal Casket

| A Metal casket with relief representations of St.
Catherine, presented to the Monastery by a Russian
Princess in 1860, to contain the Saint's holy relics.
These, however, were left in the older marble chest
placed within the sanctuary, behind the
icon-screen. |
