Ceremonial Cloth

This Ceremonial cloth was cover for the reliquary of St. Catherine. It has fine embroidered scenes from the Saint's life. The central representation shows the angels carrying the Saint's body to the highest peak of Mount Sinai. It dates tot he 17th century.
