Heading to Egypt

Heading Out to Egypt

by Jimmy Dunn

I'm going to make this pretty short and sweet, as I am about to head to Egypt early next week. As I have mentioned in a previous story, we will be exploring the Delta, including Wadi Natrun, The north coast from Alexandria to Port Said and back down through the Delta, and then we will head into the Sinai, along its north coast to Al-Arish, and then down and around the Sinai (clear along its east and west seacoast.

In the past, I have tried to write stories while on the road, and I will do that once more. However, to save time that is required to do the more formal feature articles, I will be posting these stories to the Message Center Reporter blog , so keep an eye out there.

As an added incentive for you to do so, I will be uploading, just every once in a while, a very high resolution photograph from the trip. Most of them will be printable up to about 30 by 40 inches or smaller. You have my permission to print them for your own use. They may not be distributed or used for commercial purposes.

And yes, that is 42 pounds worth of photographic gear on my back, including a 16.7 mega pixel Canon D1s Mark II. Don't worry, I really will not be packing it along. The bag has wheels.

Who are we?

Tour Egypt aims to offer the ultimate Egyptian adventure and intimate knowledge about the country. We offer this unique experience in two ways, the first one is by organizing a tour and coming to Egypt for a visit, whether alone or in a group, and living it firsthand. The second way to experience Egypt is from the comfort of your own home: online.
