Period: 6th Dynasty, Reign of Pepi II (2246-2152 BC Here, Pepi II is represented as a child in a pose that is highly unusual in either private or royal statuary. The fingers of his right hand, now missing, were once held to the mouth in a classic Horus-child manner.
