Description:
Bronze head of the Emperor Hadrian found at Qena. The emperor liked both Greece and Egypt, and particularly Alexandria. He rebuilt the Sarapeion, reconstructing the temple and dedicating the basalt bull now in the Graeco-Roman Museum. He also built a library which housed the city archives.
