Description:

One of the four long quays of the harbor at Philoxenite, which could accommodate numerous boats bringing pilgrims on their way to the monastery of St. Menas (Abu Mina). It was here that all the goods needed to maintain the town's high living standard were unloaded, and the agricultural produce of the region, especially of its vineyards, taken on board.
