Title:
Snake at Excavation Site
Description:
Snakes, symbols and protectors of ancient Egyptian gods and kings, enjoy the company of archaeologists as well. This one rested for weeks under a stone used as a step by excavators at Tell Atrib (ancient Athribis) until the end of the campaign.
