Title:
Carved Male Figurines
Description:
Two of the carved male figurines with triangular beards (and sometimes also Phrygian-style caps), which are usually found at the ends of tusks or throw sticks. First found in Naqada I, they continued to be produced in the Naqada II, with the beards perhaps already being a symbol of male power.
