The photo shows a tornado that swirled in Alexandria, Monday, 4 December 2006. I acquired the photo from the Plaza of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA). It was raining. I hoped to photograph a rainbow, but actually I experienced my first tornado! Tornadoes are rare in Egypt. Egypt's last twister occurred in 1981. It horrified a village in Upper Egypt.
