Neil`s right, nothing else remains to be done.
Let`s turn over a new leaf.
Thank you guys for comforting me in my misadventure, but I can promise such a thing
won`t happen again. I`ve enabled the Trash Can function, thus this risk is eliminated.

Ooh, this looks so familiar... can I hazard a guess and say it's one of the double statues of Amun and Mut in Luxor temple?

WOOHOO!! The game is ON!!!

Here's one for you Egyptomaniacs....

Name the object in the foreground, the object in the distance and (for extra brownie points) what's immediately behind the photographer.... :)

24 hour rule applies... we have a lot of new members it appears, so let's give them a chance to participate! :)

WOOHOO!! The game is ON!!!

big take up on this one!!!!! (not)

have we lost momentum on this thread??

maybe some hints will launch it off! again.

are we talking saquarra area?

is this the view of one of the hundred or so pyramids??

is that water/boat in the background??

is it somewhere pretty open to all given the graffiti
on the foreground entrance??

the usual crowds gone quiet on this one
is it beyond any guesses??

In the foreground I see an archway and a mastaba.
In the distance the Pyramid of Senwosret II at Il-Lahun?
If so, behind the photographer must be the desert.

I have to admit, I'm stumped. But Joerg sure sounds like he knows what he's talking about.

Never give up!
CORRECTION:

In the foreground I see an archway of the Bent Pyramid's chapel/mortuary temple
In the distance the Black Pyramid at Dashur
If so, behind the photographer must be the Bent Pyramid itself.

Contrary to your expectations, this time it`s a real easy one:
What and where?
Attached Image: El_Minya_Waterfalls.jpg

I`ve noticed we have some new Egyptian members who should know the place.
So don`t be shy and take part in our little game.Posted Image

Fayoum oasis:
Water from the Qarun Lake goes to Wadi Rayan which has two lakes, connected by a little river and Egypt's only waterfalls.

OK?
