The Karnak Sound and Light Show

There are several Sound and Light shows in Egypt, including the one at the Karnak Temple. The other one is at the Pyramids in Giza. These are big, extravaganzas and most people consider their hour and a half length well worth their time.

The one at Karnak portrays the history of Thebes, including the lives of the pharaohs who built the necropolis. Show times are at 6:30 PM, 7:45 PM and 9:00 PM. Various shows are in English, Japanese, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Arabic, so it is good to check out which performance one wishes to attend prior to showtime.
