Description
The temple is located just a little over a mile outside of El Kharga and was built by the Romans either during the rule of Antoninus Pius or Hadrian. The temple is much in ruin, but there are paintings of female musicians playing percussion instruments. The temple may have been dedicated to thespouse of Amun. It doubled as a fortress.
