Opera Complex

Opera Complex
The Opera Complex, which was given to the Egyptians by the Japanese in 1988, was inaugurated in 1993. In the complex there are two concert halls a multi-purpose exhibition and theater area and the Museum of Modern Art. The Museum of Modern Art housed thirteen thousand works by Egyptian artists when it opened in 1991. There are also the Andalusian Gardens, sometimes called the Maspero Gardens, where you will find an obelisk that was discovered at Tanis.
