19th Dynasty

This family served the kings of Egypt in various capacities and were very loyal to their royal families. The Amen-em-Opet family was involved in the New Kingdom dynasties and brought remarkable abilities to the various offices of the nation. There was a sage named Amenemope that served as the viceroy of Nubia for Seti I. Another member of the clan was Bakenkhonsu and held similar positions throughout that era of Egyptian history.
