Amenken

18th Dynasty

Amenken was a high official of the treasury during the reign of Amenhotep II. He was responsible for the tabulation and distribution of the gifts to the court favorites and the nome officials. Outstanding servants were given golden collars and other expensive insignias on feast days by the kings.
