Amenmose was the son of Tuthmosis I and Queen 'Ahmose. His younger sister was Queen-Pharaoh Hatshepsut. Records have shown that he was a general in his father's armies before he died. Tuthmosis II became pharaoh upon their father's death instead of Amenmose. It is possible that Amenmose died at a young age. He was buried in the royal necropolis at Thebes.
