Amenwah
20th Dynasty
Amenwah, a worker from the artisan's village at Deir el-Medina, was accused of robbing the tomb of King Ramesses III. He was discharged, however, for lack of evidence. In modern times his guilt was proven when the object from the king's burial which he had stolen was found in his own tomb.
