EusebiusRoman Emperors
Eusebius was the bishop of Caeserea, and a historian. In his History of the Church he describes the headlong rush into martyrdom, saying that when the first Christian was sentenced many more confessed their Christianity and suffered sentences of death with joy and cries of laughter.
