Kenamon18th Dynasty
Kenamon served during the reign of Amenhotep II as a steward of the royal estates in the northern territories. His mother, a royal nurse, was responsible for introducing him into the royal service. He distinguished himself in the role of steward as well as other positions in the government and temple. Kenamon's temple is a popular tourist attraction at Thebes.
