Lamintu

Twenty-Second Dynasty

 

In the third year of the reign of King Sheshonq III, Lamintu, the royal shield-bearer, made a festive donation of land to the god Osiris. The donation included a pool, which is described as birket, a word which is still extant in Arabic.
