Nenkhsekhmet was a physician to the royal court during the reign of Sahure. In honor of his long and faithful service, he was honored by the king. He was given limestone and a false door to for his tomb. Sahure directed the workers in the gathering of the materials for the tomb. His rewards are told about on a stela that was discovered at Saqqara.
