Pi'ankhy

24th Dynasty

 

Pi'ankhy was either a Sudanexe or a Cushite warrior who changed the makeup of Egyptian affairs in about 730 B.C. He was the son of Kashta, and a brother of the Shabako. He held the titles of High Priest and Great Commander of the Army.
