Ramesses was a prince of the 19th Dynasty and was the first-born son of Ramesses II and Queen Istnofret. He rode in a chariot attack against the Nubians with his father, while Ramesses was still a child. He later became a general and was to succeed his father to the throne, but he died before his father.
