Re'emkuyFifth Dynasty
Re'emkuy was the son of Izezi,
who was a ruler of the 5th Dynasty.
He died at an early age and was placed in the tomb of
Neferiryetnes, who was a judge of the royal courts.
Re'emkuy was a counselor to the king as well as a priest
in various capacities. The mastaba that the prince was
buried in was altered before he was placed there. The
reliefs and the decorations were changed to salute the
prince.
