Rehu-erdjersenbTwelfth Dynasty
Rehu-erdjersenb who was called Rehu'arjersen in some
records, was an official for Amenemhet I
(1991-1962 B.C.), in the 12th Dynasty,
and served as chancellor of the court. His tomb was built
near the royal pyramid at el-Lisht. The walls of his
gravesite are well-known for the elaborate reliefs, which
depict the chancellor hunting in the Nile marshes. A
stela proclaiming his deeds and listing the members of
his family was found in Abydos.
