Ro-an

Eighteenth Dynasty

 

Ro-an, sometimes called Roen and Ra-an, was an official of the 18th Dynasty who served King Tuthmosis III (1479-1425 B.C.) as a mortuary priest, and supervised the rituals at the tomb of Queen Ahhotep. Ahhotep was the mother of 'Ahmose, the founder of the dynasty. Tuthmosis III erected a temple in honor of Queen Ahhotep.
