Sixth Dynasty

Sabni served under Pepi II (2246-2152 B.C.) as a crown governor for the territory of Aswan. He directed the quarrying for the formation of the two obelisks for the cult center of Heliopolis. Sabni was a descendant of a military commander. He was buried at Aswan.
