Sehetepibre'12th Dynasty
Sehetepibre' was an official of the late 12th Dynasty,
probably in service to Senwosret III
(878-1841? B.C.) and Amenemhet III
(1844-1797 B.C.) as treasurer. He is well known for his
Loyalist Instructions, in which he advised the Egyptians
of his era to obey the king in all things, behavior which
could attain a person a higher office. A copy of this
text was found on an Abydos stela and in other documents.
