Strato of LampsacusPtolemaic Dynasty
A man of talent, Strato of Lampsacus was attracted from the hellenised Mediterranean to become a tutor to the royal family. This was do to the far-reaching extent of Ptolemaic Patronage, which was marked by the intellectual creativity which was hardly matched in later periods.
