Tadhukipa18th Dynasty
Tadhukipa was a Mitanni princess who was sent to marry
Amenhotep
III (1391-1353 B.C.) of the 18th Dynasty,
and who is believed by some to be Queen Kiya, the wife of
Akhenaten.
The niece of the Mianni princess Khirgipa, who had
previously married Amenhotep, Tadhukipa was sent to
Thebes either shortly before or after Amenhotep's death.
She is mentioned in a letter from Queen
Tiy as having been married to Akhenaten.
