Tem was a queen of the 11th Dynasty, married to the Mentuhotpe II (2061-2010 B.C.), believed to be the mother of Mentuhotpe II. her tomb at Deir El-Bahri is large and beautifully decorated. The largest of the female graves sites, Tem's burial chamber contained a Sarcophagus made of alabaster and sandstone.
