Wersu

18th Dynasty

Wersu, who was also called Worsu in some texts, was an 18th Dynasty official who served Amenhotep II (1427-1401 B.C.). He was the superintendent of mining operations in the southern domains and may have served as a Viceroy of Nubia as well. Statues of him and his wife were found in Coptos.
