Period: 11th Dynasty, Reign of Mentuhotep Nebhepetre (2061-2010 BC)
This is actually a fragmentary statue composed of two fragments, with other missing. The general was superintendent of the Royal Troops and was apparently very close to the king. He is portrayed seated with his hand on his knees.
