The UN's Tourism Organization has given its seal of approval to Egypts tourist industry
According to a worldwide tourism organization, British holiday makers looking for an exciting holiday this summer should not hesitate to book their holidays in Egypt.
Taleb Rifai, secretary-general of the United Nations World Tourism Organization, gave this positive quote after his recent visit to Egypt: "Throughout my visit it has been very clear that the Egyptian tourism sector is fully operational and ready to receive visitors."
Mr. David Scowsill, President of the World Travel and Tourism Council, added that the country's tourist industry has "recovered quickly" and "visitors are now coming back".
Among the unique attractions visitors to Egypt can discover are the historic Valley of the Kings, the ancient Pyramids of Giza, or scuba diving in the popular holiday resort of Sharm El Sheikh.
