Who's Who of Egyptian people, queens and family: Ahmose Sipar

'Ahmose Sipar

18th Dynasty

'Ahmose Sipar was the son of 'Ahmose I and Queen 'Ahmose-Nefertiry of the 18th Dynasty. It has been speculated that 'Ahmose Sipar could have been co-regent or co-ruler with 'Ahmose because there were markings of a king in his tomb at Thebes. He died before he could succeed his father and so Amenhotep I became king. 'Ahmose Sipar was buried on the western shore of Thebes and with honors.
