11th Dynasty

Kawit was a royal companion of Mentuhotpe II and was buried in the king's mortuary complex at Deir el-Bahri. Her burial chamber contained very elaborate and stylish scenes of her toilet rituals. It was inscribed on her sarcophagus that she was the "Sole Favorite of the King". This was inscribed on other sarcophagi as well.
